I’ve noticed during the difficult times we are all going through with the pandemic is that no matter happens, something that can never be taken away from us is love. The love we have for each other will always prevail during the hardest times and that is so evident with Tedd + Gio. They’ve also navigated their way through long distance and now they are solidifying their commitment together.
Tedd had told me that he knew he wanted to propose even before all the lockdowns and hysteria, and he wasn’t going to let that affect their future. So, he took Gio to the first spot they ever camped together in the Catskills and set up a little self timer shot and the rest is history. Being such great friends for years, I knew we needed to document this special time before Tedd went back to Scotland for school. They were back in New York for such a short time the only shoes they brought were their matching Chacos, which added such a sweet personal touch to their Long Island City shoot. These two are such warm, unique souls that I am truly thankful to know.
